Aquaponics : Cycle

Aquaponics is a natural balanced environment designed and created by men with the purpose of growing food in a sustainable natural manner.  .  . Aquaponics  is a food production system that combines aquaculture; the cultivation of fish and hydroponics; cultivation of plants in water.

This constructed recirculating system creates a symbiotic environment for both species. Aquaponics is a symbiosis; in simple words is the constant interaction of two species; The two species help each other acting as a team, simple as that.

In our system waste water goes to a natural filter of aquatic plants, before it goes into the system

And then goes to the floating rafters canal where plants take the nutrients from the water and grow beautifully without the need  any fertilizers.

We do not use pesticides in our system so most of the pests control is made by hand.
